Jason Piper 2 of my favourite producers of my early 20's reunited after their debut Christmas album (also well worth checking) and this time they've really captured a raw, funky and weighty vibe which draws on production techiques that are era appropriate and give the album an authentic yet unique sound. It's punchy and playful funk and soul that sits in the groove for those that love that library sound. Excellent work! Favorite track: Silver Silk.

Very nice collection of ultra rare fusion. I grew up with prog and fusion so this is great stuff for me to listen to. The last track is by a Dutch-Surinam composer of which I never heard. Still looking into her, seems she signed up for the 'Culture Chamber' during the war and moved abroad afterwards. A lot of artists signed up, just to be on the safe side, not because they agreed with the nazi-regime. Anyway, I'll try to find out more. There's a story here. Robert Bloemkolk
